Hearing heavy movement in the attic or noticing damage around the roofline? Our raccoon-control service starts with inspection, followed by humane removal and exclusion work suited to the findings at your property.
Wildlife services are delivered through Wildlife Shield, the dedicated wildlife control division of The Exterminators Inc.
EXCLUSION WORK WARRANTY
If animals break back in through our exclusion work within two years, we return to correct the covered work at no additional charge.
Coverage applies to completed work, not other untreated parts of the building. The proposed scope and applicable terms are explained before service.
INSPECTION COMES FIRST
Tell us about the sounds, sightings, or damage you’ve noticed. The inspection assesses access points, nesting locations, and whether dependent young are present before a removal approach is agreed.
Describe nighttime movement or visible damage around soffits, vents, roof edges, and other upper building features.
Tell us about activity in a chimney, garage, window well, or beneath a deck or shed. Access conditions affect the plan.
The technician checks for dependent young and considers how the family group can be handled humanely.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your technician explains the findings and inspection photographs so you can review the proposed scope.
Where appropriate, a one-way door allows exit through the known entry point while preventing return through it.
Suitable exclusion materials protect access points included in the work, with recommendations for other vulnerabilities.
Once animals have exited, we remove the temporary device, secure the opening, and inspect the completed work.
Young animals and difficult access can change the sequence. The team explains the removal plan and return arrangements for your property.
RACCOON PROOFING & REPAIRS
Inspection may identify damaged soffits, roof vents, chimney access, or openings around decks and other structures. Galvanized steel mesh and suitable protective products are used where appropriate to the agreed work.
Your technician explains which areas need attention and what the proposal includes. Cleanup, insulation work, or additional repairs are assessed separately where relevant.
Previous repairs, a new opening, or activity in more than one area are useful details to share. The inspection helps distinguish the current entry from other vulnerable locations.

Yes. Describe the location when you call. The inspection determines the access, removal approach, and suitable protection for that area.
The 2-year warranty applies to exclusion work we complete. Untreated parts of the building are outside that coverage. Ask the team to identify the included areas before agreeing the work.
Call with the property location and details of the activity. Inspection findings, access, and the proposed removal and repair scope determine the recommended work. Ask what is included and whether cleanup or other work is additional.
